The Promised Lands...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It's beautiful..."
She smiled looking over the Forgotten Plains feeling a calm wash over her she had never known.
"Aye it is....I can't imagine a better place."
"That's because it was made for you."
She giggled lightly teasingly looking back at him with a smile.
"Still though....Neither can I..."
She looking back at the area once more with a soft smile on her face that had not been there for years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The memories were becoming more frequent now, he could almost recall everything now that happen before his death, the images were suppressed once more into the back of his mind as he looked back down to Isil. Perhaps coming back here had triggered something deep within his mind....The plains were deeply connected him after all.
As they entered the Rift the site that greeted them was not what it once was, the plains had felt the effects of his Death from the great distance he was and slowly had began dying. Shiju looked around the area of the entrance way to the plains remaining silent for now letting go of Isil's hand to step forward taking more of the surroundings in.
The Forgotten Plains were dying from feeling his Death, Shiju had never seen them in such a state since they were created. The blades of grass had become yellow, the cherry trees were dead and the mountains were covered in a thick layer of fog as if they were disappearing. The sight made him let out a long drawn out sigh, as he turned back to Isil.
"...Well looks like this area is not what it use to be either."
He smiled lightly at her as he continued his sentence.
"This world is directly connected to me, and when I died I'm sure the land itself had mirrored the event.....but I do have another plan in mind....May I?"
Shiju reaching for her hand once more grabbing it gently leading her to the top of Cherry Tree Hill just beyond the entrance they walked into, she able to see the Keep now although it was broken and worn down as it sat now. Shiju turned towards Isil once more as he stopped on top of the hill with her, he smiled lightly at her as he reached down for her other hand with his free hand holding both her hands in front of her, he looking down to her becoming a bit more relaxed with her now.
"If you don't mind...I'm going to use a bit of your energy a long with mine, it would be difficult to bring some life to anything as I am now. I may have control of what dies, but I can not do the reverse as of now with how I am now....It won't hurt and you will barely feel it."
He took one last long look at her before slowly closing his eyes, his head lowering slightly as he started focusing, his aura began to pick up as he pushed away the powers of Death suppressing them deeply inside of him and using his own magics, his aura slowly clearing back to what it use to be, the dark power from Death slowly dispersing from his physical form, turning his clothes slowly back to the white they once were. His face slowly becoming more serene as his head cleared even more, the powers of creation starting to swirl around them both. Isil's aura starting to glow in resonance with his own, her energy slowly starting to swirl around her figure and around them both.
The power felt warm and comforting, like before but without the chill of Deaths overwhelming power. It creating a wind around them that stirred the realm itself, the grass below them beginning to turn green once more waving lightly in the wind that carried there aura. Shiju opening his eyes looking down at her feeling at peace for the first time in a long time, as he used the power of his goddess to give life back to the world, something no Death before him had done.
He kept his eye's on her for a long while, feeling more power from Isil then she probably knew she had.
"....So you know, in case anything happens in the future Isil. Thank you for coming with me."
He smiling faintly at her as he closed his eyes once more his head tilting upwards as if he was looking to the sky, the power of Isil's life force and Shiju's bursting outwards in a large gust of wind. The winds washed over the entire land turning everything they touched green and back to life. The cherry tree's becoming healthy and full of pink petals that were pushed up in the wind, some of them breaking free scattering over the land and around them, others following the burst of wind following it outwards. The oceans turning a bright blue, and the forest to the West coming back to life, the mountains cleaning of fog shining brightly in the now bright sunlight as the clouds cleared, and the keeps walls becoming bright and new once more. Everything coming back to life as the spell washed over every part of the Forgotten Plains, and the winds settling back around Isil and himself swirling back slowly to a gentle breeze the cherry blossom petals flowing around them from the wind and beginning to fall quietly to the ground carrying a sweet scent to the air once more.
Shiju's loose clothes and hair picked up in the win as it settled. He opening his eyes looking down to her smiling lightly to her honestly grateful for the help she just gave him. It was nice to be back home and it being the place he remembered.
His eyes looked up at Isil's hair, some of the petals falling into her hair he laughing quietly slowly letting go of her hands and picking the petals out of her hair one by one.
"They actually seem to fit you."
He leaving one in her hair tilting his head slightly smiling down at her.
"They really do...It's rather.....cute."
He laughing more brushing some of the petals off his shoulders smiling softly at her.
"This is my home.......and yours if you so desire."
He looking back down to her keeping the smile and gaze upon her, wondering if this was more to her liking.
( I'll continue more after the next post. Hope you enjoy it Lily.)
Re: The Promised Lands...
*As she came into the plains her gaze went all across the plains. Her face saddened a bit from how everything had looked. She sighing lightly makeing a small aww sound as she knelt down feeling the yellowing grass beneath her. Once Shiju was through she looked up at him smiling lightly wondering what was going to happen next. She standing back up litsening to him and smiled. *
"It must have missed you.."
*She giggleing litsening to him more then nodded to him telling him yes for what ever he wanted to do. As he grabbed her hand she squeezed it lightly smiling at him even more enjoying every waking moment she was haveing now.*
"I don't mind."
*She feeling his energy grow and hers as the wind began to pick up. She watching his cloths change to white blinking a bit in curiousity. Though she did not say anything about it. She nodding to him as he spoke one more.*
"Of coarse, no matter what happens. I trust you completly and I know and hope everything will be bright."
*She closeing her eyes a bit from the wind and opened them as they died down. As Shiju began to remove most of the petals she blushed greatly from it and from his words.*
"Your being dazzleing again.."
*Watching him for a moment giggleing. She nodding her eyes filling with excitement.*
"Yes this place is so buetiful I would love to be here."
*She almost jumping for joy and quickly hugged him tightly. After a few moments passed she released him and looked at the cherry tree's ahead of them.*
"Buetiful."

Re: The Promised Lands...
The hug caught Shiju off guard he tensing up at her actions, he didn't react at first but eventually putting his arm around her back to hold her until she released. He smiled softly down at her for a moment then turning around to look it over as she called it beautiful.
"Aye it truly is....but it's not reflecting me anymore....It's now tied to your life force, this place is yours now."
He left it at that for now turning to face her once more holding his hand out to her grabbing for her's gently.
"If I may show you around then?"
His smile returning to greet her once more for a few moments before leading her up the road passing under the cover of the Cherry Blossom trees, Shiju looking around remaining silent for now taking it all back in.
Everything here seemed more beautiful then it was before when he stayed here, the world was ever changing and yet this place held it's untouched beauty....But this brief moment wouldn't last and he knew it. Once he found some suitable people to help Isil out, he would have to return to his duties. For now though this brief peace would be more then enough to keep him focused on what he had to do later, and gave him a purpose once more no matter how small. Shiju turned to look at her as she walked by his side looking over everything that was here, that she has seen.
"So I take it you approve thus far? It's quite a change from the gloomy area that you were just in."
He turning to look back at the top of the hill they climbing it slowly until both of them reached the top, the rest of the plains coming into view. The vast green hillsides and plains that covered the entire area were aligned with wildflowers of every type, the bright blue waters of the ocean sparkling in the sunlight to the East, The lush and green forest spanning back into the West of them, and a sturdy strong mountain range watching over the lands from the north. All of it connected by one road that met in the middle of the lands the large keep sticking out within the middle of it all.
Shiju looked back at Isil with some curiosity as to her thoughts but continued walking with her in tow heading firstly towards the East. Walking through the vast fields of grass and wildflowers that danced in the wind kicking up a whole array of fragrances of flowers and fresh grass with a hint of the salty ocean. Shiju broke his silence as he walked looking down at the grass and flowers watching his step but still holding onto Isil's hand.
"The lands here are not connected to any other realm Isil, this place is secluded, secure, and safe.....It's a refuge for people like us built by my creator."
He looked up at the sky as he walked now getting back on the road that was heading towards the Ocean.
"The only problem with this place is that it's a terribly lonely place, there are animals here and it's beautiful but....Staying here so long by yourself is just something that get's to you after a while. The world was different then though and I was young and running away from everything."
He smiled looking down at her then turning to look forward at the Ocean as they drew closer falling silent once more, not as talkative as he usually is with her.
As they cleared the hillside the sound of the waves came further into hearing as they crashed against the shoreline. Shiju let go of her hand in case she wanted to look around he walking towards the waters edge looking out at it. He slowly crossed his arms into his sleeves looking out over the ocean letting the mist of it's water and the gentle breeze wash over him he staying that way as he explained the area to her.
"This is the Sapphire Ocean, I named everything here from being here so long and this one got it's name because of how it looked from the keep at dusk....The waters would sparkle brilliantly and turn a beautiful shade of blue, purple, orange, and red. The array of colors reminded me of Sapphires and the name stuck."
He smiled lightly looking over at her curious as to what she was doing watching her thinking back to what she said when they got there he laughing a bit.
"Your honest you know that? I've never had someone just say something like your dazzling out loud while blushing and fidgeting slightly."
He laughed quietly to himself smiling turning around looking at her his hands falling from his sleeves and back to his sides.
"Still though...."
He walking behind her turning around to see her in front of the ocean waters he smiling at the view he was given from the sparkle of the sun in the water and her figure standing in front of it, his hands going back into his sleeves as he looked upon Isil.
"It's nothing compared to what I'm seeing now....If only I could show you how beautiful you look right now...Even more so with the small cherry blossom petal still in your hair."
He laughed quietly once more looking her and the ocean over one last time before moving on to the next area he starting to enjoy the small teasing he was directing at her.
(I'll stop here and let you respond. If you want the post longer just let me know.)

(OOC: Wow I didn't expect you to do that lol. )
*She looked to him as he spoke and tilted her head a bit. He said that this place was hers now. She was surprised.*
"Isn't this place special to you? Wouldn't you want to keep it?"
*She felt bad a bit not wanting to take this away from him though she wouldn't mind at all if he kept coming back here. She listening to him again letting him take her hand. She smiled.*
"Yes, of coarse.."
*She a bit excited wanting to explore now. As they walked up the road to the cherry tree's she smiled.*
"Its amazing.."
*She listened to him speak once more.*
"Oh yes this place is beautiful every inch is like a painting from a fairy tale."
*She giggled. As they came to the top and the scenery came into view she gasped. Everything before her looked so amazing the hills, ocean, forests, and mountain ranges were so beautiful that she felt like she was in a dream. She listened to him speak once more nodding a bit taking in everything he said. Her face saddened when he spoke of him taking refuge here and that it was a lonely place.*
" It must have been so sad for you.."
*She watching him for a long moment then began to walk with him once more as they came closer and closer to the ocean. She closed her eyes once she was able to here the waves flow over the shoreline making its calming music . She listened again as he told her the name of the ocean. She smiled at him.*
"Its such a pretty name. "
*She blushed brightly at his next words.*
"I have always been like this. Truthfully you are really amazing to me. I've only been in that town surrounded by the same people. You are the first person I have truly become friends with so you are a special person in my eyes. "
*She watched him listening as he spoke once more and blushed when he spoke of the petal she had forgotten about. She quickly pulled it out giggling more.*
"Oops.."
* She giggling again as he laughed and then began to follow him again as he led her to the next areas.*

Re: The Promised Lands...
He listened to Isil as he continued walking taking in all of what she said he remaining a bit quiet, taking his time answering her as he continued to walk through the fields keeping his hands to his sides.
"Of course this place is special to me, it always will be. Things change though Isil, soon I will have no time to do the things I enjoyed and took advantage of before this. This place deserves someone who will take care of it and someone who has a pure heart....Which is you Isil."
He stopped turning around to face her watching her.
"Somethings coming Isil, I can feel it....and it will not be pleasant when it does come. I've tried for so long to run away from war and a more violent life. but for once in my life.....I feel as though this is what should be. I now have the power to not only protect you....but a whole universe at a time or more Isil. The ones I charged with seeing to it's protection....Fell a part with my death. I see now that I can not train someone to take my place, and this war will end with me..."
He looks down at his right hand for a long moment making a fist slowly looking up at her closing it fully the area around them growing colder and feeling more uncomfortable as if the season of winter had started.
"I gave this place to you because I can no longer be a part of it Isil. The worlds I once called home are no longer a part of who I am nor am I connected to them....I can only bring it pain eventually with the longer I stay....Peace was always something I wanted and yearned for."
He lowering his hand the world around them warming up once more going back to normal, looking at her directly his face still void of emotion but it was coming back to him slowly.
"but it was denied over and over again....having a family, friends, a home to come home to everyday that I was welcomed in....At first it bothered me, but now....whatever it was is gone. I know it happen but it all just isn't important. One pleasant life against the universe suffering seems to put everything into perspective now."
He smiling at her turning around looking over the area in front of them for a moment taking her hand once more.
"Come....There's more to show you."
He walking forward once more heading towards the Forest to the West.
The forest glistened with a morning dew that fell off the leaves, he looking up at the large trees heading into them the sunlight sparkling through each one of the gaps between each leaf, making an array of dazzling patterns through the forest ground. Shiju holding his free hand in front of him looking at the sun beams that hit his hand making patterns on it.
"This forest is the oldest place of this area, she told me it was created first.....This place holds one secret though that I know you will use correctly."
He walking through a clearing the forest leaves starting to turn a golden color as they wen't deeper inside of it. He pulling back a large wall of golden colored leaves and vines a large lake coming into view he holding the vines for Isil to pass walking in behind her letting her look at the lake. A large waterfall flowing from the other side down a straight cliff fed from the Rifts Edge Mountains.
Shiju walked a long the edge of the lake heading towards the waterfall looking back at her walking at her stride.
"This lake is called Silverlake and the Forest is named after it as well. It's waters have a healing property that the falls over there create. The falls carry the name Sorrow Fall."
He walking over to them listening to the sound of the water falling from it's height hitting the water below causing it to glisten with a magical property. He turning to look at Isil as he leaned against a larger rock sitting down on it watching her.
"Go ahead and try a bit of the water if you want Isil."
He smiling warmly to her, thinking over what he was saying before looking out to the waters contemplating what would come next as he showed her around.
"Of course this place is special to me, it always will be. Things change though Isil, soon I will have no time to do the things I enjoyed and took advantage of before this. This place deserves someone who will take care of it and someone who has a pure heart....Which is you Isil."

Re: The Promised Lands...
(OOC: Sorry for the lateness of my post x.x)
Shiju watched Isil as she took in the entire area going over to the water tasting it and back and forth looking over every inch of the area. He smiled inwardly as she took it all in, he ignoring her question about what was coming as she had become preoccupied with the area now. As she walked up to him he looked down at her nodding about the taste of the water reading into her beautiful eyes that she was ready to see more. She seemed to take everything in quickly no matter the circumstances or how grave things could get for her.
"..Very well Isil....I think it's time I took you to where you will be staying." He pushing himself off the rock turning to head back out of the forest.
The walk back through the forest Shiju remained silent walking slowly and taking his time with every step, keeping his arms crossed into his sleeves and looking straight a head finally deciding to tell her about the impending threat they faced.
"...You asked back at the falls what was coming...." He looking over at her as he walked, speaking in a soft tone.
"It would be hard to explain for you at this time....but it is like the creators of everything you know...The world around you...The air you breath and the reality you receive. They have become corrupt Isil, they have a absurd notion that the multiverse has become corrupt and are proceeding to "cleanse" us...."
Shiju sighed lightly slowly making his way out of the forest heading down the road.
"I will not see that happen, so I must do what I can to stop it....So I must prepare to fight these....things....Which will prove to be a daunting task."
He falling silent for a long moment then looking back at her.
"That is why I have brought you here...To show you this place so you can save as many of us as possible if I fail...."
He stopping turning to face her looking down at her.
"I do not know why as of yet...but something inside me is drawn to the power you possess Isil...I do not know which part and that somewhat frightens me sometimes, but it does not feel like something that would do harm...So I will choose to entrust this task...and place to you....but only if you are willing to accept this place....and the trust of someone who may not always have control of who I really am."
He worried about his state and how restless Death was getting inside of him.
"...If he takes control though...I will revert to being the embodiment of neutrality...Which is not always the best way to be....The choice is yours though Isil...As much as I would like you to stay...You must truly hear my words on this Isil and not just because I want you to stay. I know you must feel it by now."
He takes her hand and puts it on his chest over his heart, the beating of his heart felt and sounded like it was fluttering like a humming birds wings. As if it was strained she feeling something else within it as if it was working hard to keep something locked inside him. The feeling of it did not feel evil to her, nor good. but a far worse feeling as if nothing was there, just a void of empty emotionless existence, that did not care about either side...Good nor Evil, it just wanted it all to be broken, bound and chained.
Shiju removed her hand slowly her senses returning back into her he looking down at her for a moment keeping his soft face hiding the tremendous strain on his body easily from years of other pains and tortures he had endured.
"...Isil...I will tell you this, that you coming here has given me another reason to continue onward. I do not want to lose that...So I will ask you this sincerely..."
He kneeling down on one knee holding onto her hand looking up at her pausing a moment realizing he has not done this in some time.
"...Let me draw from that strength you possess...Even if you are not aware of what I speak of, even though my power may seem greater than yours...I feel still a stillness and calm that I do not feel in any other place other than your presence Isil....In return I will be your knight...and help you in any endeavor you may face in the future, I will come to your aid when you need me. I swear it...If you will just accept this place and help me see this world safe..."
He looking up at her keeping his eyes locked on hers clasping her hand with both of his gently waiting for her answer.

Re: The Promised Lands...
(OOC: Sorry Lily I have to go check on Luna again lol, Shinie's got her in a mess...I'll still be here just splitting my self once again.)
Luna's capture slightly made him uneasy but did not alert him fully to what was going on back on Tenkuu, it was when Shinie's life force was seeping from him that he fully became aware of the situation there, Shiju slowly rose from where he was kneeling in front of Lily looking off into the distance as if in a daze. He could not believe that Shinie was actually dying.
"...."
He turned back to Lily looking to her for a long moment, not wanting to leave her in this place alone without knowing her way around, but he had to check on Luna and Shinie.
"....It seems that Luna and Shinie are in trouble Lily...I must go and check on them....You do not have to answer me at this time, or at any time you do not wish to...Just let me know."
He smiling at her kneeling back down closing his eyes, his figure splitting slowly as if made of water making another of himself. It raising for it's kneeling position, looking at Lily for a moment before turning around disappearing into a rift in space.
Shiju continued to stay where he was looking up at her waiting patiently for her reply before they continued on into the plains.

*As he spoke about were she was going to stay it peaked her interest some. She imediatly following him back through the forest remaining silent until he spoke about her question. She nodded to him still a bit curious as to what the future held.*
" Yes."
* She waiting for him to explain and as he did she got a nervous feeling that washed over her.*
"Clense?"
*She being able to get what he was referring to. She following him down the road listening to him speak a bit more. She smiling at him nodding.*
" Yes.. If I can save everyone that would be even better, this place could be a sanctuary for everyone."

*Her face saddend only slightly.*
" I do feel the power... sometimes...and I am just being honest with you. It feels quite scary but. At the same time it feels warming, I know that explaination sounds strange but I feel as though your future still holds hope within it."
* Blushing a bit at him. She then turning even redder nodding to him.*
" If I can help you along the was then yes you can draw whatever strength you need. Helping you makes me all the more happier and I will know hope will still be in everyones hearts."
*Giggleing a bit.*
" I want to help you protect this world and every world if possible. Life is important to me, be it yours or anyone elses. I want to be able to help everyone in every world. To bring life to peoples hearts that were lost."
*She blushing more holding her cheeks.*

Re: The Promised Lands...
(Sorry about the delays Lily, had to do Luna's bday and I had a triple shift during the 4th holiday, didn't get around to posting till today. >.<)
He looking up at Isil listening to her watching her reactions and listening to her every word, Even though a part of him was elsewhere he was able to stay with her here where he actually wanted to be now. When she agreed to the task he lightly smiled to her, standing up holding onto her hand still he laughing quietly at her rambling.
"...I don't mind it, It's cute."
He smiling softly to her watching her red face it bringing a bit of comfort to him.
"And I wouldn't mind seeing more of it either."
He laughing quietly bowing formally to her holding onto her hand still remembering the ceremonies of a knight swearing service to another. He kneeling on one knee keeping his head low closing his eyes still holding onto her hand gently.
"Then I will devote my life and skill to your well being in return, I devote my everything towards you Isil, and together I promise you we will defeat the coming storm. No matter where I am, what I'm doing, or situation we find ourselves in...All you need to do is call and I will be there, I promise you this."
He kissing her knuckles softly to seal it, letting go of her hand slowly afterwards standing up looking at her with a smile.
"and I hope in times of need you will depend on my strengths as well if you need them Isil...."
The wind picking up in response to his pledge, as if confirming it to her dancing around her and then to him blowing his loose clothing into the wind a long with his hair caught in a gentle breeze, he catching his hair in his hand moving it out of his face, feeling a bit flustered himself at his trust in this woman.
"...Well...I should show you your quarters where you will be staying shouldn't I?"
He smiling at her walking past her slowly tying his hair into a pony tail as the wind started picking up more, he heading towards the center of the Forgotten Plains, his hands behind his back, he walking at a comfortable pace for her staying beside her feeling content for once in a long time.
(Long post coming up for the keep next xD lol I'll start it after your next post, again sorry it took so long to post.)

"I'm sure that you'll see alot of it honestly. I tend to ramble when I get excited, and happy. And right now I am both."
*She then looking to him curiously as he knelt down on one knee she not recognizing what he was doing. Then as he spoke she smiled gently at him feeling more comfort now. She still could not fathom why, but she felt so much warmth from this man, and she trusted him completely. She blushing lightly as he kissed her knuckles and spoke after his comment.*
" And I hope you will call on me whenever you may need me. I want to help and protect you as much as I can."

* Laughing lightly, she getting more excited now, she not being able to wait to see more of this amazing place. She walking along side him taking in everything as the walked along.*
" It seems every inch of this place is like a wonderland. Everything is just do beautiful. "
*She looking off to the side blushing as she continued to enjoy the views.*

Re: The Promised Lands...
(xD Stop apologizing for being late cause your not. Post when you have time and I'll reply.)
As he continued walking with her at her own pace looking over the plains, he would look over at her watching her and listening to her go on about this place he happy at least that this would be a place she could call home after what had happen, and having her live in the castle back in the Nexus was a absurd notion to him. He softly smiled to her looking back forward as he replied to her walking just beside her.
"This place only reflects what is within you Isil, when your happy it will become lively and flourish with warmth and beauty, when your sad it will rain, when your excited the wind will do exactly what it's doing now."
He turning to look at her as the breeze got a bit stronger he laughing a bit.
"It kind of gives away your moods to someone that knows this place quite well, but I'm glad your enjoying everything here so far."
Shiju watching her for a long moment smiling before turning his head back forward continuing to walk towards the Keep which was just in the distance now, it's black marbled walls gleaming in the sun. He stopped just short of the wall that surrounded the Keep on each side, he turning to look at her looking apologetic.
"I apologize but the blackened stone of the place you will be living can not be changed, it's been this way since I built it and rebuilding it now would be something I could not do for sentimental reasons...So I hope you don't mind the black..May I?"
He grasping her hand gently pressing it up to the black marbled stone gate. It feeling warm to the touch from the sunlight in the realm. After a few short moments the gate opened with a loud sound that broke away the dust from years of no use it opening slowly giving them access to the courtyard and areas around the Keep.
As it opened it revealed a large fountain further down the white stone that led to the Keep, the fountain being about halfway between the walls around the Keep and it's doorway inside, the waters sparkled from the three tier fountain it having a direct link to the waters from the lake deep within the forest. On each side of stone walkway was bushes that were squared and came to about Isil's waistline giving her a view over them and in between them grew different kind's of herbs and wildflowers from all wakes of the Multiverse, all of them in different arrays of colors.
Shiju walked into the entrance way letting go of Isil's hand reluctantly as he moved back into the courtyard looking it over he placing his hands behind his back once more walking over to the fountain sitting down on the side of it letting her take a look around before heading in. He looking down at the water a moment twirling his fingers around in a circular pattern enjoying her company. The gates slowly closed behind them once them were both inside the courtyard, Shiju looking back up at her placing his hands in his lap, in no hurry to leave her and giving her as much time as she wanted to look around.
"This is the courtyard...It over looks my balcony on the top floor, it has as many herbs and flowers one would ever need to make any form of medicinal or medical property imaginable, all you require is the knowledge of it's use....Not to mention it looks beautiful as well."
He smirking slightly watching her from his seated position on the fountain he listening to the waters run behind him as he let her look around. The flowers ran between the hedges in square patterns all around to the side's of the buildings here a larger hedge blocked off the backside of the Keeps Gardens from view.
"His face softened lightly as he watched her completely relaxed now around her, he losing his composure a bit not realizing he was starting to stare at her as she wondered around. He only sat there silently on the fountain, his foot moving every now and then swaying back and forth giving away his carefree mood slightly.

Re: The Promised Lands...
(Np Lily, apologies about the delay btw. Been a busy couple of weeks and omg! I just had the post finished completely and a chat bubble popped up on chatango wen't to click it and hit the X button *Dies* X.x, had to redo the whole post XD)
Re: The Promised Lands...
He watched Isil answering as many questions about the place that she could when she asked he nodding to her about using them as medicine. His eye's met hers when she looked up at him and said she wanted to explore more. His smile returned staying silent for a moment enjoying seeing her so happy thus far.
"Are you sure? You seem to rather enjoy it here in the courtyard.."
He teasing her a bit as he rose from his seated position on the fountain turning towards the front gate of the Keep waiting for her to walk by his side. As she approached he looked up at the marbled black large doors that were the front door to the massive imposing building before them. He placed his hand slowly upon the door gathering all of his energy when he felt the chilling presence of Death taking over his other self in Timelost at this very moment, Shiju immediately cut his ties from his other self so he would not him here, nor this place, nor Isil. He continued to focus his energy until the door reacted to it, a bright glowing aura showing over the entire keep showing the barrier that he had placed on it just before his death. A pulse shot from within his hand into the light it shattering like glass releasing his magic on his once home and allowing them access to the front doors.
Shiju turned looking back at Isil with a smile as the wind picked up around him he using it to push open the large heavy doors, they creaking open slowly revealing to her the inside of what she would call home. As there eyes adjusted, a long hallway with black marbled polished floors that reflected everything in the hallway like they were walking in between two worlds. The walls held ever burning torches that burned all through the hallway in perfect unison with the other on the other side of the long hallway, each torch was held with polished silver that gave the entire hallway a warm glow that was reflected on the floor. The walls were made of gray stone that stretched up to the ceiling, which was made of the black marble just as the floor was, the corridor seemed to stretch all the way to the back of the Keep leading to a brightly lit large circular stairwell that moved up towards the second and third floors. At the foot of the black marbled stairs was a white carpet that flowed up onto each step leading out of site from there view, the railings up each side of the stairs were made of a polished light brown wood that was smooth to the touch, and hanging in the middle of the circular stair was a large crystal chandelier that held hundreds of ever glow candles within the crystal that burned through raining light through each angle of the crystals giving it the light they needed to see up the long twist and turns to the floors above.
Shiju looked upon the hallways for a moment taking in the familiar sites of his old home as he started to walk inside, putting his hands behind his back as he walked. The memories of this place played in his mind like they just happen yesterday, Lily and Kairi arguing among themselves as Lily prepared dinner for everyone in the kitchen, Arois and Aranel causing problems with there teasing and trouble making trouble all throughout the halls of the Keep, Luna chasing Shinie for flirting or playing with her shouting as she chased him in and out of the gardens and courtyard, Marawen being yard from the studies and libraries of the Keep she turning pages and mumbling to herself under her breath while falling asleep buried in books, and Arwen's footsteps being heard out in the garden as she walked around it becoming lost in her own day dreams...All of these things now replaced only with the gentle breeze that flowed in through the Keep from the open glass doors to the gardens in the back. A feeling slowly started creeping up into his heart once more, a emotion that he had now felt for some time now..Loneliness was coming back into his soul. With things how they were now though, he knew there was no going back to how things use to be. Only to move forward.
Shiju turned halfway into the hallway looking at Isil smiling softly to her walking into the left room that had no door halfway down the long hallway it leading into a large open room that the sunlight from the open front door could not touch. Shiju turned around once more walking backwards still smiling at her as he disappeared into the darkness of the room and from her site for a moment. Just a few seconds after he disappeared though a large burst of fire sparked to life from the back revealing a large elegant fireplace in the back of the room sitting in the far back side wall. The light from the fireplace revealed two beautifully crafted wooden chairs that had red silken pillows embedded into them for comfort on the back and bottoms of the two chairs. They both sitting right in front of the fireplace side by side with the other facing the large roaring fire and a small elegantly crafted round wooden table sitting between the two chairs.
Shiju was standing near the left chair running his fingers a cross the material of the chair as he circled behind it looking over at Isil with another soft smile on his face titling his head ever so slightly as he watched her, the room was still darkened but did reveal the back wall and the fireplace with it's sitting area, but a lot of the room was still darkened only revealing silhouettes and shadows of what was further inside with the faint glow of the fireplace.
"This is the first room I wanted to show you."
Shiju turned walking back over to her from where she was at the entrance way to the room he speaking to her before he got to her holding his smile as he looked upon her.
"I do believe you will spend a lot of time in this room..Of that I am certain."
When he spoke to her now his voice was always light and warm, she was starting to have a unseen affect on him that he himself had yet to notice. As he got closer to her he vanished from in front of her appearing back behind Isil his hands gently covering her eye's she hearing a soft laughter of his voice behind her now.
"No peeking till I tell you to look..."
He slowly walked her into the room keeping his hands over her eye's until they reached the center of the room. His hands slowly falling off of her eye's as he spoke from behind her.
"...Alright...Open them"
He waiting for her eye's to reopen his hand waving from the fireplace circling around the room, a trail of fire flowing from the large burning flames within the fireplace and around the room following his hand lighting every torch in unison revealing that the entire room they were standing in was a library of books from everything he had collected over his years of life. The books were placed on twenty foot tall oaken bookshelves that held books on every subject that he had ever came a crossed. Subjects on magic, skills, martial practices, arts, music, poetry, fantasy, legends, fairy tales, myths, history, novels, strategy, section upon section of facts and historical icons and tales of other worlds, and about the universe itself.
Shiju smiled at Isil walking up beside her looking over the bookshelves then looking down at her seeing her reaction.
"I have one more thing to show you.."
He holding out his arm to show her as if he was trying to reach out to the bookshelf, suddenly a book started sliding from the shelf and floated over to him he taking hold of the white covered book that was titled Moonshimmer. His eye's moved back over to Isil smiling softly now.
"No matter how high the books are here...All you have to do is reach for one and it will come to you...Go on and try it."
He reaching for her hand once more grabbing a hold of it gently raising it to the bookshelf in front of her, sliding his hand down to her forearm to hold up her hand without interfering with her hand. He bent down slightly beside her from his height to do this staying close to her as he held her arm towards the book shelf. It was not until he had done this action that he realized how close he was to her slightly feeling as if he may of over did it with how straight forward he was being towards her, although being this close was nothing he minded it did un-nerve him a bit or bring about a small sense of nervousness from deep within his still human soul. It was then that something else eased him, a scent he could not put into words but knew it was coming from her, almost as if it was a flower.
"That scent you carry...It smells somewhat like a flower does it not? what is it?"
Speaking softly to her now he being close enough to learn something new about her, he feeling a bit reserved now that he actually told her in so many words that she smelt nice, he almost wanting to laugh at himself he almost doing so it coming out in more of a smile then before.
"...Forgive me for being so direct Isil...I could not help but notice."
He waiting for her to try to pull the book off the shelf hoping he was not being too much of a distraction with his questions.
(OOC: Inside his head hes really just fumbling over his own words xD, anyways hope you enjoy it Lily, Hope to hear from you soon.)
Re: The Promised Lands...
Shiju smiled watching her enjoy herself in her new home finding a faint comfort in her presence alone, he began to continue the conversation when he felt someones presence he had not felt since his return. The jolt of his detached emotions ran through his body with such a force that he could not resist the urge to look towards the direction of "her" presence.
He gazed long out of the window as if he could see beyond the fabrics of time and space to the far away realm where she was residing now.
His attention moved back to Isil when she asked him if he was lonely here, something he often felt stinging in the deepest parts of his mind. She was so astute in her observations of him, even though they had not been together long. His attention moved down to the touch of her hand which she had ran her fingers a crossed. The feeling gave him warmth that was not actually there, and he could feel the calm and serene feeling of her aura flowing through her fingertips and straight into him...It was barely able for him to describe the sensation and emotions that ran through him at that moment, but his faint smile hid the complexity of his thoughts as he responded back to her.
"No Isil I am not, you are here after all."
He softly chuckled under his breath at the shortness of his answer but it was the truth.
"There has been many times I have been here alone, and aye the loneliness of solitude can be a bit much at times. It is something that grows on you when you are a danger to those around you, it took me a long time to find a balance to the strength that I have become known for. Not always though is this place so lonely....There were times when it was bustling with life and a number of personalities....I smile inwardly thinking of it still.
His faint smile softened towards her, not leaving her gaze for a long moment of pause taking in her presence once more. Her power itself gaze a calming feeling but it was something more as of this moment that held him, he could get a glimpse of what emotions he possessed before his awakening, as if he could feel them through her.
This small woman that he had just met was to say the least very impressive in her own light, he watched her roam around the room of books, a smile going a crossed his face as his eyes followed her going back and forth looking at the books then turning her attention to the one he had shown her. Her attention seemed to be drawn to the book more than anything else right now, he knew that most of what he had wen't through in life was far from the normal everyday occurrence and that many had been curious of him in the past, but her sense of wonder was genuine and not beaten down by what reality is perceived by to every culture he had come a crossed. It made the decision to give her this place that much more justified.
"I want you to have this place as a sanctuary and I will protect it for you as I always have...If I can get you to become the beacon here in this world and breath life into it once more, more will follow your example, and I can do what I must to see that the corruption in this world is faced with judgement....Isil I want you to be the beacon for the lost souls that this war will bring.....but for now I want you safe above all else...."
He taking her hand in his, this time with no reluctance like he showed before. The softness and warmth of her hand along with the power radiating inside of her left a strong impression on his soul. His hands slowly wrapped around hers pulling her gently around to face him he meeting her soft warm gaze as he spoke to her.
"I want you to keep that kindness and let it become hope for those who have none....I can only protect through violence, I can not quell the beast inside other's hearts as I can not quell my own. What I become now is something I could not avoid as much as I tried to, now I must do what I can to show the ancient darkness inside of me that there is another way. Isil....You just tell me what you need and want, and I shall see it granted to help you hold the responsibility of what I ask you to do....What happen to your home was most unfortunate and I wish there was more I could have done, but I am content to know that you are safe and here. So that I was granted the chance to meet you and speak with you as I have..."
His hand slowly let loose the grasp he had on her fingers tracing his hand up her arm and shoulder, slowly falling to rest at her cheek, his thumb lightly tracing a crossed her soft skin.
"What can I do for you to repay your kindness in agreeing to this task Isil?...Just name it and I shall see it come to reality."
He gazed long out of the window as if he could see beyond the fabrics of time and space to the far away realm where she was residing now.

Re: The Promised Lands...
(OOC: Sorry i'm a bit late on posting. My computer was finally fixed .)
* As they both stood there she smiled. She was enjoying herself, even with everything that had happened to her she was ok. She didn't seem to have a care in the world. She ran her fingers through her hair for a brief moment while they where standing there, and as he looked to her; her face blushed lightly, but quickly smiled at him realizing that for a moment his attention was somewhere else for a brief moment. As her hand touched him and she say a slight reaction from him she smiled once more.*
" Will you be alright?.... Its as if you have something heavy weighing on your mind"
*Her face saddened a bit letting him see that she was genuinely worried for him. As he began replying to her previous question her face saddened a bit as he was explaining to her that for quite some time he was alone. She quickly moved to him hugging him tightly then looked up at him with an intent look on her face.*
" Well you don't ever have to be alone again. I'll be here."
*As she looked to the book her attention went straight to the detailed design of it she listening to him more as she roamed
through the room looking around. She could feel his gaze on her, but she was just so happy that she got the chance to be
it was beautiful everywhere she turned. After a while her attention went back to the first book he had shown her. It was interesting to her for some reason. It called out to her a bit, and as she was about to look at it he spoke. Her head turned to him listening as he spoke. As he took her hand she blushed lightly and smiled. As he traced her cheek her smile deepened and even her eyes showed the joy and happiness within her. She nodded taking both of his hand tightly looking up at him.*
" Yes, I will do anything I can to help you and everyone else. To be able to bring warmth, love, and even some hope to peoples souls..... that in it self makes me happy. I want people in every world to be able to live peacefully... I want to be able to put people who have had family or friends that have passed to be at ease knowing that their loved ones are resting peacefullyand are watching over them."
* She giggled lightly a tear falling from her face glistened lightly as she spoke.*
" You are so kind to offer this to me. After mother died and you bringing me here. You have helped me so much. Thank you no... I can't even say thank you enough. This is more then I could ever ask for."
*She letting go of his hands and held hers over her heart*
" This warms my heart that I can do this. I know that everyone I help will have a home here. "
* She seeming to have a glow about her the happier she got. She giggling again looking to him.*
"Your like a knight in shining armor for me, thank you.."
