Shadow the Elemental (Attempt 1)

(OOC: Well I will give this a shot, would be best if I learn this anyways since I am sure ill be fighting alot in the realms in the near future.)

*A purple vortex appears he walking through looking around at the environment seeing he was in some sort of arena.*

"My name is Shadow....I am here to prove myself..."

*Only his voice was heard with no sound that followed. Only the echo of his words. He watching and waiting for anything or anyone to appear. His armor gleamed a bit even in that darkest of places and his helmet only showed that of purple colored eyes.*

"Anyone there?"

*He asked as he watched and waited.*

(Welcome Shadow...Let us begin.

Since this is the first post here you get to become the teacher to anyone else that reads this hands on lol. So thanks Shadow

Alright first speaking once is fine, as it alerts a enemy to your presence if they can't sense you, more powerful characters like Shiju though will not talk much and you have to really focus on attention of what's about to happen. The second time you spoke is a fatal mistake a long with how you did it. You had no defense up and entered the realm without a back up plan nor a decoy to draw out a surprise attack. Don't worry though after this we can begin again and you will know hes there now at least....Let's continue.)

Shiju sat on the throne completely aware of Shadow's intrusion as he came through the void, Shiju looked directly up at him his eyes burning through the dark as he spoke his name, something he cared nothing for. When he stepped further into the nexus looking around for some sign of life Shiju remained silent his mind burning with the thought's of Death's voice ringing in his ears to kill him.

When Shadow spoke again was his fatal mistake, something that would cost him his life. Shiju grabbed Excalibur and Togire-Reikon one in each hand disappearing in a blink of an eye appearing to the left of shadow out of range of his right hand and leg. Shiju's armored body engulfed in the blue corrupted fire of the Phoenix Togire-Reikon already wrapped around shadow's body preventing him from backing away.

The gravity being so close to Death was so immense that it made moving or breathing almost impossible without training, and he felt the effects as soon as he realized that he was in trouble Death's aura setting off every warning nerve in his body on ends in the millisecond that that Shiju appeared. Shadow still in the middle of his two sentence question of "Anyone there?"

but by then it was too late to counter attack nor do anything from his relaxed position he came into the realm that was a grave mistake. The blue flames spread through Togire-Reikon as he pulled it through shadow's mid section they spreading onto his armor and the burned the pure energy that made up a Elemental of his kind Excalibur immediately coming up above Togire-Reikon slicing clean into his armor releasing the Dark Matter and White Matter into each other creating a explosive mix inside the elemental's body causing chaos on his life energy and physical body.

He began spinning his body following each movement of the next strike with fluid movements locking Shadow in a deadly dance of strikes on the Elemental cutting his armor to shred's and causing small explosions inside his own energy. Each time he tried to pull away or move away from the strikes Togire-Reikon would come by pulling him back down in range until he was unable to fight back from the havoc being caused to the life force of the Elemental.

With one final strike Shiju planted the scythe into Shadow's armored helm and into his body, Togire-Reikon's full power unlocking bringing about a death touch effect draining the life force from his body in a matter of three seconds in a faint purple glow that surrounded the scythe. Shadow's body made of energy disappearing into Togire-Reikon he absorbing it thus effectively ending his life.

Shiju swung Togire-Reikon to his side throwing the remnant's of Shadow's armor scattered a crossed the arena he then slamming Excalibur into the ground freeing his hand as Shadow's soul appeared in the palm of Shiju's armored hand it glowing with a blue hue around it.

Death needed no more souls within himself he throwing it back towards the scattered armor, realeasing it back into existence Shadow coming back to life in a flash of blue fire. Death now had control of the Phoenix's flames and could choose who lives and who dies for an eternity.

As Shadow came back to life, Shiju grabbed Excalibur it glowing with a bright light, Togire-Reikon glowing with black fire, Shiju's body glowing with the blue flames as he crossed the two weapons his eye's glowing a bright green color from under the armored hood, his wings spreading from behind him increasing the flow of the blue fire around him it exploding all around his figure covering the entire area into flames and Shadow as well if he didn't move.

His head followed Shadow's every move, but remained in the center of the arena below his throne the souls around his figure starting to swirl around him screaming outwards for Shadow to save them, Shiju's wings flapping once spreading more flames around his body and silenced the souls as he started to walk towards Shadow, his footsteps echoing through the silent dark arena of the Nexus.

but would he be able to...or would he join the countless warriors that came before him.

*As Shadow came back to life he quickly vanished and reappeared on the other side of the arena. His armor crackling now from the energy around him. *

"Tch"

*He quickly changed formed into that of an actual shadow and had no armor that anyone "could see" He glared a bit as he listened to the souls but ignored them then summoned shadow energy cloaking himself in it.*

"Damn this guys tough.."

*Mumbling under his breath he watching him walk forward to him as he did a massive dark energy cloud covered the entire arena he vanishing into it. A massive amount of Shadows appeared around the arena each having an equal amount of energy within them.*

"Shadow vale."

*Every shadow spoke in sync at once they all beginning to chant quietly and quickly. After about three minutes the chant was completed and a massive ritual symbol appeared on the ground of the entire arena. It having a purplish glow to it. After about two seconds a massive vortex began to open beneath them sucking in anything it could. The shadows remained still as if the vortex had no effect on them. *

" Saikon ra moishu.."

*Were the last words he said and each shadow began to transform in nightmarish creatures, each taking on a different form, The massive haze around the arena remained so that no one could see. Shadow then sent the first wave at Shiju attacking from literally every side.*

(OOC: Very good, alright looks like your ready let's step this up a notch Shadow. I'm in a fighting mood.)

Shiju's eye's followed him until he tried to meld with the shadows of the Nexus, the swift light of Excalibur being slashed in front of Shiju blinded the realm evaporating all traces of the dark energy that surrounded them and making the shadows retreat from the entire Arena. Shadow's melding spell was interrupted by the painful light magic of the holy weapon, showing his black armored figure clear as day to Shiju as he continued to move forward keeping close track of his prey the dark energy and shadows actually wailing out in pain from the holy swords strike they taking some time to creep back into the arena. He cared nothing for settling this quickly as the others, he was bored and challengers had stopped appearing before him, Shadow was the first in years.

As he summoned the dark energy cloud and began to jump withing it, Shiju struck once more with a massive light burst from the holy energy coursing through his body as a Tsuki. It destabilizing the dark energy with light energy and causing it to meltdown, exploding directly into Shadows face. This preventing him from hiding from him once more with little effort and able to keep Shiju in his slow stride towards Shadow, starting to now back him in a corner of the arena.

The eruption of spells did not stop his shadows from appearing, Shiju stopping his stride now as he remembered to equal each cloan's energy with his own making him effectively hidden for now. It was a solid move on his part, but would not buy him much time as he knew already what he was trying to do.

Buy time for a more powerful spell...

His form flickered with a pulse of his aura, pushing the wind around shadow past him making some of his cloan's stumble and fumble the spell they were chanting. Shiju then swinging Togire Reikon around his body in a perfect circle, creating a green and black poisonous smog. He then using the force of his aura to push it away from him and into shadows cloan's on every angle. The scythes Miasmic dark energy very effective against magic casters, it silencing and making the words fumble out of the mouths of the user falling like blocks out of there mouths. It then making them gag and choke uncontrollably effectively interrupting the spell chanting he was going for, making the final effects of his spell that much weaker. The spells final appearance was not what shadow was going for, the vortex still opening up, and his creatures still summoned, but not to the effect they could have been.

Shiju's glowing eye's narrowed from under the armored hood as he slammed Excalibur into the ground, the vortex shattering into glass like particles that floated around them, he then thrusting his wings forward as they crystallized and rained a hail of crystal feathers from each direction around him into the creatures hitting vital joint spots on most of them in the confusion of the shattered glass like dispel that blocked Shadow and his cloan's view.

As the vortex completely dispelled dissolving from the glass floating around the arena into thin air, he flapping his wings quickly shaking off the crystal and activating the secondary effect of the feathers that hit there targets, they exploding into small razor like nails shredding the targets flesh and armor hindering the creatures movements considerably and Shadows.

As the creatures fumbled into attacking him the two pulses from his aura before activated, a fully armored demonic skeletal warrior that held two scythes striking in large swaths to his left, and holy angelic knight appearing to his right carrying two light swords blocking and dispatching the creatures to his right until only shadow was left. Shiju continued walking towards Shadow as soon as he came into view the two warriors defending him walking on each side of him they towering over Shiju's figure, shaking the grounds of the arena as they followed him.

Shiju's weapons slowly lowered towards the floor in each hand, the tips dragging a cross the black marble of it, echoing in the now silent halls, with only the footsteps of himself and the two monsters behind him being heard, he closing in quickly on Shadows position.

(Good defensive post, only problem was you forgot to keep him busy while you were trying to prepare for an offensive. Give it a good thought, turn on some music and try again. I'll refrain from attacking this post.)

(OOC: Sorry about the wait.)

*Glaring a bit as the light magic from the holy blade made his concealment easily visible. He watched as the energy flowed from the blade. He was going to have trouble with it and he knew that. The glare from the light did not hurt him all that much, he easily shook it off. As he used it once more he quickly moved within a shadow that he easily made even with the glare and light from his sword. He making sure to dodge the blast so that he wouldn't get hurt.*

"This is going to be a long..."

*He cut himself short as he began to interrupt the chant's from his cloan's he immediately while still within his shadow began to meld them together, it beginning to create a large more powerful creature, and he remained hidden with in its shadow. As the vortex beneath them broke he growled a bit.*

"Tch.."

*And as the rain of attacks began from Shiju's wings he immediately erected a dark matter barrier around him and the creature , the shards dissolving upon impact, and thankfully filter out the smog like energy from the sycthe for his creature. It did not effecting him due to the fact he himself had no flesh, lungs, or anything like that to begin with. The ones that he had sent to attack Shiju were easily destroyed, the rest he was able to join together for his creature. It now looking like a large demon with half of its flesh on him. The dark matter began to act as armor absorbing anything weaker then it.*

" here we go.."

*He mumbled to himself as two massive claymore's appeared in its hands and then began to attack all three of them each swing sending a wave of dark matter bullets through them and exploding on contact.*
