First touch of Death

Post by DarkWardenX13 on Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:05 pm

Kyle stood atop a gorgeous mountain overlooking the realm he had just entered. Skies of blue and white coated the heavens
as they seemed endless going far beyond his sight range. The grass beneath his feet was soft and serene as an elegant wind
blew past, launching 'faerie' peddles from dandelions into the air.

He stood in awe at the realm and absorbed the light, for it had been ages since he had seen or been in it. His black cloak shuffles and snapped in the winds as he gazed down upon the terrain hundreds of yards below.

He stood silently as his thoughts carried him back to a time when his wife would have loved to have been here to enjoy this. In the heavenly skies were two suns, each giving light and burning the skies with opal and prismatic hues giving this already
beautiful land, a majestic feel about it.

His body ached from the years he spent in the void of shadow darkest shadows. This new body of his tired quickly as the suns moved through the sky. The clouds above moved with slowness and patients biding their time before they would erupt in showers of warm tears.

He didn't move for hours. Just let his will be free for the time being as he would be very busy soon. He could feel the call of death within this realm, the feel of souls about to cross and the feel of those in need of his abilities.
But for now, he stood looking out into the grand lanscape before him. This places beauty was second only to the faded picture of his wife in his mind. He looked to his side and smiled as the imagination of his own thoughts created for him a vision of beauty as Piper stood next to him, her long black hair blowing with the wind above the skin of her shoulders that were white as ivory but more empowering to touch then the energies of life that filled this place.

She wore a long white dress that fell to her knees and it snapped with the winds as well as she looked to him with love in those eyes of faded green. She spoke to him in whisper and in with one small well balanced light wind, she began to turn to dust and moved into the realms outer winds.

"I know...", she said. A tear formed in his eyes as she disappeared from sight becoming nature to this place.

His knees weakened as the strength from his body became a null element of enfeeblement. He may be an Agent, but the time of his imprisonment had drained him of everything that endurance and power. He had not collected the soul of the lost in twenty years. The last of the souls he collected had given him the power to form this body. He remembered the name of that last soul and smiled as he figured it was a sign that his wife was always with him.

After half a day had passed, he closed his eyes and tried to feel the worldly energies around him. The energies that gave this place life. He opened his eyes and glimpsed them as though he were looking through a kalaidascope. A wide array of colors glimmered this plain like no other. This place had never felt death like this since its creation and it was a shame he had to ruin that, but now his mind was made up, and his mission was active.

He weakly rose from the ground, using willpower alone to rise onto his feet and sense the worlds natural order of things. In the kalaidascope, he had found that not a thing was dark. All the life this place had recycled into something else, but off in the distance, he found a glimmer of something that dulled this places feeling.
A singular dark spot in a town on the horizon. The call of those about to fall echoed in his mind and gave him direction.

With a single step, he dropped from the floating mountain and began to fall. As though sensing his intensions, his cloak began to whirl around him to form a tight wrap that would protect him from the fall.

He just listened to the bird and the sound of the wind as it passed by his body at sub-sonic speed. He had allowed his thoughts to pass and began to focus on his mission. "Save him. Bring him back..."
The words echoed in his mind like a large cavern of sounds and waves.

"M'lady, I will", he responded aloud as he passed through a low level cloud formation creating a streak as he would impact the ground.

A resonating explosion erupted as he landed, his cloak unwrapping him gently and becoming a free flowing cloak.

He was kneeling with one hand in place to break his fall, then began to rise. Without hesitation, he began to walk in the direction of the town, he look of total focus about him. He would regain his honor by serving the Lady Miyuki and in time would regain the memories of his past that were sealed away in a place in his mind. He left those memories dormant and focused, beginning to gain momentum as he moved from walking to jogging. Smoke rose from the crater sight and as it rose, it took the life of the trees, plants, insects and animals all around. His aura was still in place, and it fed him as he moved from jogging to running. It didn't take him long to gain full speed as the black erosion from the creater began to spread until it had taken up a circular acre of land.

"I'm coming. Just hold on...", he spoke lightly as he vanished from sight and appeared he and there as he traveled his path.
